Session I: January 24th
Session II: January 31st
Session III: February 7th
Session IV: February 14th
This workshops series will build upon Part I of the two-part online winter workshop series, ‘The Neuroscience & Buddhist Psychology of Suffering and Happiness” and will integrate and align the western and eastern (Dhammic) science of suffering and happiness from part I with the central tenet of the Buddhist tradition, ‘The Four Noble Truths (ariya-sacca). Part II of the online winter workshop series encompasses discussion, study and the integration in detail of The Four Noble Truths found within the ancient scripture known as The Dhammacakkappavattana Sutta with the science and psychology of Part I.
Each session includes a discourse / Dhamma talk and meditation practice on one of the noble truths (ariya-sacca), building and integrating all four systematically and progressively throughout the workshop series. Through direct felt experience each practitioner will bare witness to insights capable of radically shifting how we relate to the mind, the body and to life itself.
This intensive is accessible to all levels of experience and is an essential undertaking for those practitioners interested in gaining the highest benefit from their mindfulness / vipassanā (insight) meditation practice, those dealing with physical, mental and emotional injuries, and any human heart-mind interested in embodied and societal well-being and how the limitless potential of the human mind may be accessed via these ancient teachings and practices.
Each session includes a Dhamma (philosophy) talk/presentation and mindfulness (satipaṭṭhāna vipassanā) meditation practice.
